This is where protein comes into play to accelerate gains in muscle endurance (aerobic) and muscle strength (anaerobic).

Whey protein contains an incredible array of essential amino acids. Numerous studies show that whey protein can help you increase strength, build muscle and lose body fat. It also has the highest bioavailability of all protein sources, so your body absorbs the protein you consume.

Whey is the liquid by-product of milk that separates during cheese production (curds are the fatty parts that solidify and become cheese). The proteins in whey are of very high quality. There are two sides to the whey debate:

The truth is that both are excellent sources of protein, which is why they are both in the formulation! They both have high BCAA content because they come from the same source. The whey concentrate may also contain more beneficial subfractions to boost your immune system. It does have small amounts of fat and lactose, which gives it a nice creamy texture and flavour (just wait until you taste ours!). Whey isolate is further refined to remove more fat and lactose and also remains an excellent source of amino acids.

Casein protein is also derived from milk. It is a slowly digestible protein that contains all the essential amino acids your body also needs. This protein is anti-catabolic, meaning it reduces protein breakdown in the body due to its slow digestion speed and sustained supply of amino acids to muscle cells. Essentially, it feeds your cells low-level amino acids over a long period of time.
